Will Dutta

Will Dutta is emerging as an extremely exciting, versatile and creative young musician, collaborator and event producer.  His recent projects have included work with DJ Yoda and The Heritage Orchestra, electronica stalwarts Plaid and performances with Classical Brit Award-nominee violinist Jack Liebeck.

Will completed his training in 2007 at Trinity College of Music with Philip Fowke and Mikhail Kazakevich. Whilst a student he spent time at both the Rachmaninov Institute in Russia with Victor Merzhanov and at Yale School of Music in the USA with Boris Berman.

His solo outings have seen him perform extensively across the UK, notably for the British Liszt Society, Jacqueline du Pré Concert Hall and Winchester Cathedral, in Russia, the 17th International Rachmaninov Festival and in India, the 11th East West Music & Dance Encounter.

Will’s future projects include collaborating on a series of new works for piano and live electronics with key exponents from the electronica scene as well as developing his company, Chimera Productions, which is committed to providing young artists and composers with interesting and often unusual platforms to perform and premiere new music, as can be regularly found in the critically acclaimed Blank Canvas nights.

Chimera Productions has recently collaborated and developed new works with Plaid, Gabriel Prokofiev and Max De Wardener as well as hosted performances by top soloists and ensembles: O Duo, Elysian Quartet, Joby Burgess and Dominic Murcott to name a few.
